Terrorists are trying to evict 30 Hindu families from their land by threatening to grab their land in Ghurchakathi village of Dhulia Union of Bauphal in Patuakhali. The victimized families are spending their days in fear of eviction. According to victim sources, Harun Kari and his family are known as land robbers in the area. He has become the owner of a lot of wealth by occupying the land by holding the marginalized people of the village hostage. In 2021 Harun Kari and his brother Kader Kari took an irrevocable ammoktarnama deed or power of attorney of about 3 acres of land by threatening Naren Rakshit. Harun and his men occupied Naren Rakshit’s house with power of attorney. After that, Naren Rakshitat and his family fled to India fearing for their lives.
Since then, Harun Kari was on a mission to seize the land of the Hindu families in the area. He started selling the Hindu residential and agricultural land to different people by making fake documents. If anyone did not want to leave the area voluntarily, they were tortured by Harunkari and his pet army. Not only that, many Muslim families has also been victimized by Harun Kari and his forces.
