Local miscreants were demanding huge sums of money from Bimal Bepari and his family, a resident of Juluhar village in Samudayakathi union of Nesharabad (Swarupkathi) upazila of Pirojpur. On Saturday February 03, 2024, those miscreants set fire to Bimal Bepari’s residence due to non-payment of contribution. All the accumulated savings of Bimal Bepari have been burnt to ashes by the miscreants. The bereaved family lost everything. The matter of arson was immediately informed to the police administration of Nesharabad police station. The Nesharabad police administration said that one suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident and efforts are on to nab the others. Source- YouTube Video
