The corpse was found lying on the side of the road in Chamtia village of Ishwardi union of the upazila at around 3 pm on Saturday (February 01, 2025). The deceased has been identified as Sukumar Sarkar (30), son of Late Jugol Sarkar of Bahadipur village of Gopalpur municipality.
Locals saw a body lying on the side of the road and quickly informed the police station. Police reached the spot and recovered the body. However, no information has been received yet about the motive and who committed the murder. The police recovered the body and took it to the police station, but no case has been filed so far.
