A sculpture of the birth of Jesus Christ was vandalized by miscreants in Mujibnagar Upazila of Meherpur. The sculpture, built in front of the house of Pintu Mandal of Ratanpur village in Bagowan union of the upazila, was vandalized on Friday night (December 27, 24). Locals and Pintu Mandal believe that boys from Rashikpur village may have vandalized the sculpture on their way home after a cultural program at Ratanpur church. Meanwhile, the Mujibnagar Upazila administration and the OC of Mujibnagar Police Station have visited the scene after receiving the information. News source daily-bangladesh.
